B.Ed. is an academic qualification that is necessary for teaching at secondary and higher secondary level in India. Integrated B.Ed program can be pursued right after 12th.also, the course duration is 4 years, one year less than the time taken in the traditional B.Ed method. This 4 year integrated program play a major role in equipping the young aspirants planning to make career as a teacher with comprehensive knowledge focused on best teaching practices & community oriented approach to teaching. A student can undertake M.Ed. programme after completing their integrated graduation programme .

After completing B.Sc. B.Ed / B.A. B.Ed. course, graduates are eligible to take up teaching job in private sector. For government teachers post, one must score CTET test or state-wise TETs.
